In Q345B carbon and low alloy steel, Q refers to the yield strength of the steel; it refers to the yield strength value of this steel, in MPa, 345 means that the yield value of this material is about 345MPa, and will increase with the thickness of the material. The yield value decreases; B means that the quality grade of the steel is B. Q345B low alloy steel has very good mechanical properties, that is, physical properties, and its toughness is relatively good. It is suitable for engineering steel supplied in hot-rolled, normalized, controlled-rolled, normalized and tempered and quenched state, as well as general structural steel plates, strips, sections, and bars with a thickness of not less than 3 mm.
