S420NL Steel Description

S420NL low-alloy high-strength structural steel is the European standard EN10025 fine-grained structural steel, the digital grade of S420NL steel is 1.8912, and the S460NL steel plate corresponds to the national standard Q355B. S420NL has higher comprehensive mechanical properties in normalized or normalized and tempered state. S420NL steel plate has high strength, good toughness and good machinability. S420NL is mainly used for rolling stock, hoisting machinery, mining machinery, large ships, bridges, pressure vessels and other large welded structures.

When the temperature of S420NL high-strength steel plate is not lower than -50, the minimum value of impact energy is specified, which is expressed by NL, that is, S420NL. S420NL steel plate implements EN10025-3 standard. S420NL low-alloy high-strength steel plate is filled with a small amount of alloying elements, and after special treatment, the steel plate can be partially strengthened.
