12Cr1MoV Alloy Steel Plates properties

12Cr1MoV alloy steel plates are known for their high strength, toughness, and high-temperature resistance. 12Cr1MoV alloy steels are commonly used in pressure vessels, power plants, petroleum and chemical industry equipment, and other high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of 12Cr1MoV alloy steel plates is as follows:

- Carbon (C): 0.08% - 0.15%
- Silicon (Si): 0.17% - 0.37%
- Manganese (Mn): 0.40% - 0.70%
- Phosphorus (P): 0.020% max
- Sulfur (S): 0.010% max
- Chromium (Cr): 0.90% - 1.20%
- Molybdenum (Mo): 0.25% - 0.35%
- Vanadium (V): 0.15% - 0.30%

The addition of vanadium improves the strength, toughness, and ability to resist high-temperature deformation of the steel. Chromium and molybdenum also add to the steel’s resistance to high-temperature and corrosion.
