15CrMoR Steel Description

15CrMoR pressure vessel steel is a medium-temperature hydrogen-resistant steel with relatively high lasting strength. 15CrMoR steel plate is suitable for boilers and their accessories, and steel plates with a thickness of 3MM-200MM for pressure components of medium and normal temperature pressure vessels. The heat treatment method is to make a heat-resistant steel by normalizing and tempering, because it can have relatively high heat resistance and oxidation resistance in a high temperature environment.

15CrMoR container steel implements GB713 standard, 15CrMoR steel has special composition and properties, and 15CrMoR steel is mainly used for pressure vessels. 15CrMoR pressure vessel steel adds alloying elements such as Cr and Mo to the low carbon steel, which greatly improves the comprehensive properties of the steel. Therefore, 15CrMoR boiler and pressure vessel steel has good high temperature mechanical properties, high temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, good toughness, process performance and weldability, and can be widely used in the manufacture of petrochemical, coal conversion, nuclear power, steam turbine cylinder blocks, thermal power and other large equipment.
