S420ML Steel Description

S420ML hot-rolled weldable structural steel has high strength, high toughness, fatigue resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, welding and ease of processing and other high-quality properties. The steel number of S420ML grades is 1.8836, which complies with EN10025-4 standard. ‘ S' represents structural steel, and '420' represents yield strength of 420, ‘ M 'stands for their heat treatment process, that is, thermo mechanical rolling or hot rolling. S420ML steel is impact material with temperature not lower than - 50 ℃.

EN10025-4 S420ML carbon steel is a European standard low alloy material for thermo mechanical rolling process. S420ML low alloy high-strength structural steel plate is often used in machinery manufacturing, such as crane equipment manufacturing, construction machinery equipment manufacturing, agricultural machinery equipment, heavy industry machinery equipment, engineering machinery equipment manufacturing, etc. S420M low alloy steel plate is also applicable to heavy load components of welded structures used under environmental and low temperature conditions, such as bridges, sluice gates, storage tanks, water supply tanks, etc.
