S355ML Steel Description

S355ML hot-rolled structural steel belongs to the series of alloy structural steel high toughness steel plates, with flat rolled plates with a thickness of no more than 120Mm and fine steel with a thickness of ≤ 150mm. S355ML corresponds to the national standard material Q345E. The yield strength of S355ML steel plate is not less than 355MPa, the tensile strength is 470MPa-630MPa, and the impact temperature is - 50 degrees (no L impact temperature - 40 degrees lower limit is added at the end). S355ML is commonly used in metallurgical machinery and equipment manufacturing and electromechanical equipment manufacturing, such as manufacturing various machine tools, automobiles, tractors, ships, aircraft, rockets and missiles. It is also mainly used for the bearing parts of low temperature welding structures around bridges, sluices, storage tanks, water supply tanks, etc.

S355ML carbon structural steel is normalized steel (fine-grained steel) in the EN10025-4 standard, and its yield value decreases with the increase in the thickness of the material. S355ML low-alloy steel is usually delivered in a hot-rolled state.
