SM400C steel Description

SM400C structural steel plate conforms to the steel standard JIS G3106, SM400C steel is also known as engineering and structural steel, welded structural steel. SM400C hot-rolled steel is used in structures that require superior weldability, such as ships, oil storage tanks, rolling stock, bridges, containers, and mechanical parts. The heat-treated steel plate of low carbon steel JIS G3106 SM400C should be normalized as N on the steel plate, tempered as T on the steel plate, quenched as Q on the steel plate mark, and TMCP on the steel plate.
