ASTM A387Gr11CL2 pressure vessel steel plate is an American standard chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate, which can prevent hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen stripping, and sulfide corrosion in a medium temperature (350~480°C) hydrogen environment, and has good low temper brittleness. A387 Grade 11 Class 2 pressure vessel steel is suitable for hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment and gas treatment at high temperature, the maximum thickness of the steel plate can reach 250mm mm thickness.
A387 Grade 11 Class2 high temperature resistant pressure vessel steel plate is produced according to ASTM A387/A387M standard. According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of A387Gr11CL2 steel plate can be normalized plus tempered or normalized plus rapid cooling plus tempered. A387 Grade 11 Class2 boiler steel is widely used in cylinders, heads, and coke towers (including the bottom layer of composite steel plates) in high-temperature and high-pressure container equipment in the coal chemical and petrochemical industries.
