Automobile structure steel refers to the steel used in the automobile manufacturing industry, which is made by special heat treatment process and has high strength, high bending resistance, high hardness, corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient and good impact resistance.  Automobile steel plate/coils are widely used in carriage, axle, drive shaft, chassis, suspension, commercial vehicles beam, high strength wheel, truck body, shaft tube, automobile and truck factories, auto parts factories and car tuning shops. Automobile steel has good ductility, can resist bending and tension, and has high toughness, can withstand large pressure, and is not easy to deform. In addition, automobile steel also has good properties, which can overcome the corrosive environment that automobiles may face.

The chemical composition of automobile structure steel is mainly carbon, silicon and chromium, of which the carbon content is relatively low, generally between 0.05-0.2%, the silicon content is between 0.5-1.5%, and the chromium content is relatively high, generally between 0.5-1.5%.
