S355K2W Steel Description

S355K2W weathering steel under EN 10025-5 European standard, S355K2W steel is an improved weathering structural steel of 60-120mm. S355K2W atmospheric corrosion resistant steel is added with certain alloying elements, such as phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, etc., to form an automatic protective oxide layer on the metal surface under the influence of climatic conditions to enhance its atmospheric corrosion resistance. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of weathering steel is 2-8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and it has good mechanical properties, welding properties, etc., and the longer the time, the more obvious the corrosion resistance effect.

BBN Steel can provide S355K2W steel plate specification range: thickness 8-700mm, width 1500-4020mm, length 4000mm-17000mm, single weight up to 30.00 tons.
