Incoloy800 nickel alloy steel has good corrosion resistance and high temperature performance. Incoloy 800 nickel alloy steel has good corrosion resistance and can resist the corrosion of most organic acids, non-oxidized salts, and oxidative corrosion except halogen salts. Especially in high temperature corrosion environment, it has good carburization resistance. When the Incoloy800 alloy is heated between 593 and 816 °C, intergranular corrosion will occur, but it has good stress corrosion resistance. However, in the case of long-term high-temperature aging, its stress corrosion susceptibility will be significantly reduced. In addition, INCOLOY800 alloy also has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, has resistance to stress corrosion cracking in hydrochloride, and has good corrosion resistance to organic acids such as steam and air.

Incoloy alloy 800 steel has excellent high-temperature performance and can operate stably in different high-temperature environments, and its maximum operating temperature can reach 1100°C. The elastic modulus of Incoloy800 is about 206 GPa, and the Poisson's ratio is 0.3. The corrosion resistance of Incoloy 800 alloy steel is better than that of general austenitic stainless steel and Incoloy 600 alloy. In the manufacture of corrosion-resistant stress cracking equipment, it is better than Incolo 600 and Monel 400 alloy.
