Incoloy 800HT Iron Nickel Chromium Alloy Steel is also known as "Alloy 800HT" and is designated UNS N08811 or DIN W.Nr 1.4959. Incoloy800HT steel has high strength, high corrosion resistance and high temperature stability, Incoloy800HT alloy steel has the same basic composition as Incoloy 800 and Incoloy 800H, but has significantly higher creep rupture strength. Higher strength results from careful control of carbon, aluminum and titanium content and high temperature annealing. Incoloy 800HT alloy steel is widely used in various high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments, such as petrochemical, chemical, nuclear power, aerospace and other fields.
The chemical composition of Incoloy800HT alloy includes elements such as nickel, chromium, iron, carbon, manganese, silicon, copper, sulfur, aluminum and titanium. Among them, the nickel content is 30-35%, the chromium content is 19-23%, the iron content is the balance, and the carbon content is less than 0.1%. The physical properties of the alloy include a density of 8.0 g/cm3 and a melting point of 1350-1400°C. At room temperature, the minimum mechanical properties of the Incoloy800HT alloy include a tensile strength of 500 N/mm2, a yield strength of 210 N/mm2, and an elongation of 35%.
Incoloy 800HT Alloy Steel is resistant to corrosion by many corrosive media, and its high nickel content makes it have good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in aqueous corrosion conditions. The high chromium content gives it better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. Incoloy 800HT alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acid, but has limited corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and mixtures of steam, air and carbon dioxide.
