Inconel 625 Nickel Alloy Steel Description

Inconel625 Alloy Steel is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-based deformation superalloy with nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and niobium as the main strengthening elements. Inconel625 nickel alloy steel has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and has good tensile properties and fatigue from low temperature to 980 °C. Performance, and resistant to stress corrosion in salt spray atmosphere. Therefore, Alloy 625 steel can be widely used in the manufacture of aero-engine parts, aerospace structural parts and chemical equipment. The alloy is used to manufacture parts such as engine casings, guide vanes, mounting edges and cylinders, and fuel manifolds; low-carbon alloy 625 is widely used in the chemical process industry, and its good corrosion resistance and high strength enable it to be used as a thinner structural parts. Alloy 625 steel can be used where it is exposed to seawater and subjected to high mechanical stress.

Inconel625 Nickel-based Alloy Steel can withstand increased stress, Inconel625 alloy steel is made of high chromium and nickel. The use of high chromium makes this special metal alloy variant highly resistant to corrosive conditions, and its high corrosion resistance also enables it to withstand sulfidation that occurs in high temperature environments. Inconel 625 has high temperature resistance up to 1093°C and excellent oxidation resistance. Inconel 625 maintains good corrosion resistance even under high temperature, harsh environment of seawater or flue gas desulfurization. Inconel 625 is suitable for high chloride aqueous solution and chloride corrosion environment. Inconel 625 standard product forms include sheet, bar, plate, round bar, flat bar, forged buttstock, hexagon, and wire, each in a variety of sizes.

Alloy 625 Nickel Steel contains about 58% nickel (Ni), 20-23% chromium (Cr), 8-10% molybdenum (Mo), 3.5% niobium (Nb), 1% iron (Fe), 0.5% Titanium (Ti) and other elements. Inconel625 contains about 30% copper and is a multifunctional ductile material. Due to its high strength, good plasticity, corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties, Inconel625 has become an important material for electrical appliances, ships and equipment manufacturing, and is often made into wires. Belts and rods are used in electron tubes and electric vacuum instruments. The newer Inconel 625 has excellent oxidation and sulfidation resistance, and has improved resistance to other forms of high temperature corrosion.
