34CrNiMo6 Alloy Steel Description

34CrNiMo6 alloy structural steel is a low-alloy high-strength structural steel, which belongs to the superalloy of steel, and has good thermal strength, corrosion resistance and tensile strength. Due to its excellent performance, it can be widely used as an important material in the fields of aircraft, ships, automobiles, and machinery manufacturing. 34CrNiMo6 steel is a typical medium-carbon chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel, which is widely used in the manufacture of train axles and mechanical spindle parts.

34CrNiMo6 alloy steel is an important alloy engineering steel grade under the EN 10083-3 standard, and the digital grade of 34CrNiMo6 is 1.6582. 34CrNim06 steel has high strength, high toughness and good hardenability. EN/DIN 34CrNiMo6 alloy steel is stable against overheating, but 34CrNiM06 has high white sensitivity. It also has temper brittleness, so the weldability of 34CrNiMo6 material is poor. 34CrNiMo6 steel needs high temperature preheating before welding to eliminate post-weld stress.
