Ni200 Nickel Alloy Steel Description

Ni200 steel is a pure nickel alloy with a nickel content of more than 99%, and also contains carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, iron, copper and other chemical elements, with a density of 7.95 g/cm3 and a hardness of 250-300HV. Nickel Alloy Ni-200 has good high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. The corresponding grades of Ni200 are N6, UNS N02200, Nickel200, W.Nr.2.4066. Ni200 alloy steel has the form of plate, round steel, steel strip, welding wire and seamless pipe. Ni200 nickel alloy steel has good magnetic properties, magnetostrictive properties, high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, low gas content and low evaporation pressure. Mainly used in aerospace and with few electronic parts.

Properties of NI-200 nickel alloy steel:

1. High strength and good corrosion resistance:
It contains high chromium and molybdenum components, so it has good mechanical properties, its yield strength can reach more than 400MPa, and its tensile strength can reach about 800MPa. It has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing medium; it has good wear resistance and good welding performance in reducing medium. In addition, it also has good cold and hot processing performance and welding performance.

2. Good weldability and process performance:
The steel adopts solid solution treatment to form a thin layer of dense and strong carbide layer on the surface, thereby improving the weldability and process stability of the material; at the same time, because the steel has a high chromium content and the carbides are evenly distributed in the grain In the world, the steel has high toughness and plasticity and low notch sensitivity; in addition, it also has good polishing performance and machining performance.

3. Good impact performance at low temperature:
When the temperature is lower than -100°C, Nickel Alloy Ni-200 has strong low-temperature impact resistance. It is sufficient for general low-stress mechanical structural steel. However, it still needs to improve its toughness and certain plasticity when it is used for structural parts working at low temperature. and toughness.

4. Good performance of heat treatment process:
Quenched and tempered austenitic stainless steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance; martensitic stainless steel after quenching and tempering has higher high-temperature mechanical properties, high-temperature oxidation resistance ability and high temperature creep resistance; ferritic stainless steel after normalizing treatment has excellent comprehensive mechanical and physical properties.

5. Non-magnetic:
Due to the high chromium content and the formation of fine intermetallic compounds (Cr23C6), this non-magnetic stainless steel is also a non-magnetic or weakly magnetic material.
