S355J0WP Steel Description

S355J0WP weathering steel plate under the European standard EN10025. S355J0WP steel is also named atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel, it is a low-alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel. S355J0WP Weathering steel is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of corrosion-resistant elements such as copper and nickel. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of weathering steel is - 2-8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and has the characteristics of high-quality steel such as toughness, plasticity, forming, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature, and fatigue resistance. At the same time, S355J0WP weathering steel has the characteristics of rust resistance, corrosion resistance and longevity of components, thinning and consumption reduction, labor saving and energy saving.

S355J0WP weathering structural steel plate is used for bridges, ships, power station equipment, hoisting and transporting machinery, machinery manufacturing and other engineering and welded structural parts that bear higher loads.

The grade of S355J0WP indicates:
