Welcome to BBN Steel Materials Factory
P235GH boiler steel is a European designated steel for use in pressure vessels, boilers and heat exchangers. The composition of this steel makes it ideal for applications where elevated working temperatures are the norm and it's used by fabricators throughout the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. P235GH steel is a normalized steel which is known for its excellent weldability and formability characteristics and is readily available from stock in a variety of shapes, sizes and wall thicknesses. P235GH boiler and pressure vessel steel which has been specified by the European standards organization EN 10028. P235GH is an equivalent grade to ASTM/ASME A/SA 106 Grade B, A/SA 53 Grade B and to BS 1501 pt.2 224-490B. P235GH steel is also a commonly used grade in Europe for steel plate.
P235GH boiler and pressure vessel steel pipes size:
Wall thickness(WT): 2.1mm——20 mm.
Outer diameter (OD): 21 mm——509mm
Length: 6M or specified length as required.
Ends: Plain End, Beveled End, Treaded
EN10028 P235GH pressure vessels steel is a normalized carbon-manganese steel alloy that is used in the fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers and heat exchangers. P235GH is available in a variety of sizes and form factors appropriate to a wide range of applications including the fabrication of industrial boilers, heat exchangers and other pressure vessels. Secondary forms used for pipes and tubes are P235GH pipe, with a wall thickness of 3.2 mm, as well as P235GH pipe-plate combination, with a wall thickness of up to 25 mm. Its resistances to high temperatures make it well-suited for these applications.
P235GH boiler and pressure vessel steel is ideal for connecting equipment in a buried system, such as pipelines. The combination of its mechanical properties and composition makes it suitable for applications at temperatures ranging from -20 °C (-4 °F) to up to 400 °C (752 °F). This makes it an excellent choice for power generation applications.
