P235GH steel is a European specified steel for use in pressure vessels, boilers and heat exchangers. The composition of this steel makes it ideal for applications where elevated working temperatures are the norm and the material is used by fabricators throughout the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

Applications of P235GH boiler steel:
P235GH is commonly used in the fabrication of industrial boilers and steel pressurized vessels found in the oil, gas and chemical industry. Due to its chemical composition, P235GH can be used in elevated temperature service. It is used in a variety of fabrication projects such as pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers and any other vessel that contains a gas or liquid at high pressure and temperature.

P235GH is a normalized carbon alloy steel and is available ex-stock from our warehouse with mill certification and stamping. This EN10028 steel grade supersedes the older BS and DIN standards (Grades BS 1501-161-360A and DIN H 1, respectively).

P235GH Pressure Vessel Steel is available in multiple forms, such as plates, sheets, bars, and pipes. The dimensions of the material vary according to the form and product type.

Plates: Plates of P235GH are available in thicknesses ranging from 6 to 100 mm. The dimensions of the plates range from 1000 mm to 3000 mm and from 2000 mm to 6000 mm in length and width.

Bars: The bars are available in round and square shapes of various sizes. The round bars range from 6 to 100 mm in diameter and the square bars range from 20 to 100 mm in sides.

Pipes: The pipes are available in sizes ranging from 1/8 to 8 inches. The length of the pipes range from 4 to 12 meters.
