SM490YA Steel Description

SM490YA Carbon Steel is a Japanese standard low-alloy high-strength steel plate. SM490YA steel plate has high-quality properties such as high strength, high toughness, impact resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, welding and easy processing. SM490YA implements JIS G3106 standard. "SM": Indicates the Japanese standard high-strength plate; "490": Indicates that the strength σb is not less than 490MPa; "A\B": Indicates the quality grade of the steel plate.

The delivery status of SM490YA low-alloy high-strength steel plate: the steel plate with thickness <80mm, the delivery status is hot-rolled; the steel plate with thickness ≥80mm, the delivery status is normalizing.
