SM570 carbon low alloy steel belongs to Japanese standard low alloy high strength structural steel plate, Grade SM570 under JISG 3016 standard. SM570 steel plates can be produced in different delivery states such as hot rolling, normalizing, and normalizing rolling according to customer requirements. “SM”: indicates the Japanese standard low-alloy high-strength steel; “570”: indicates that the yield strength of the steel plate is not less than 570MPa;
SM570 high strength structural steel has excellent mechanical properties, with high tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. The tensile strength of SM570 is between 1100-1300MPa, the yield strength is between 800-900MPa, and the elongation is between 18%-25%. SM570 also has good bending and welding properties and can meet various processing and manufacturing requirements.
