S500N Steel Description

S500N carbon and low-alloy steel is thermomechanically rolled and weldable fine-grained structural steel, S500 is low-alloy structural steel, the grade of S500N steel is composed of the following parts: Symbol letter S: structural steel, the yield strength value of the thickness less than 16mm: the lower limit yield value , N means the delivery condition is normalized.

S500N Carbon Structural steel refers to steel that meets specific strength and formability grades. Formability is expressed as elongation after break in tensile test. Structural steel is generally used for load bearing and other applications where the strength of the steel is an important design criterion.
