35CrMo Alloy Steel Round Bar Description

35CrMo Round Bar is an alloy structural steel, where 35 refers to the carbon content of about 35%, Cr is chromium element, Mo is molybdenum element, and also includes silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P) and other alloy elements. 35CrMo alloy round steel has high static strength and high impact toughness, and 35CrMo steel can be used to process important structural components that work under high loads.

35CrMo alloy structural steel has high static strength, impact toughness and high fatigue limit, higher hardenability than 40Cr, high creep strength and endurance strength at high temperatures, and long-term working temperature up to 500°C; moderate plasticity in cold deformation, poor weldability. From low temperature to -110 degrees Celsius, 35CrMo alloy steel round bar has high static strength, impact toughness and high fatigue strength, good hardenability, no tendency to overheat, small quenching deformation, moderate plasticity in cold deformation, moderate machinability, but has tempering brittleness, poor weldability. It needs to be preheated to 150-400 degrees Celsius before welding. After welding, thermal treatment is required to eliminate stress. It is generally used after quenching and tempering treatment, and can also be used after high-frequency surface quenching or quenching and low- and medium-temperature tempering.

35CrMo Round Bars are used to manufacture mechanical parts that withstand high loads and high temperature environments, such as petroleum drill pipes, petroleum casings, automotive engine crankshafts, gears, transmission shafts, etc. In addition, 35CrMo round bars also play an important role in aerospace, chemical, power, metallurgical and other fields.
